Sherri Shepherd is headed to Broadway! The 47-year-old, whose last day co-hosting The View is Aug. 7, announced on the morning show today that she’ll be joining Keke Palmer in the Broadway stage production of Cinderella. Shepherd said Tuesday on The View “So I am so nervous and excited to announce my Broadway debut in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s…Cinderella. I am playing Madame, the evil stepmother to Cinderella.” Shepherd’s role as Madame marks her Broadway debut. She’ll take the stage alongside Palmer for the first time on Sept. 9.
