(Video) Tekashi 6ix9ine Explains Why He Fired His Team, Recent Shooting, Kid Napping, dirty promoters.

Over the course of about 12 minutes, Tekashi spotlights the perceived shady dealings that led him to make his drastic decision.”There’s so much money out there to be stolen, you know what I’m saying,” he says to begin his explanation, one he delivered earlier today (Nov. 16). From that point on, the Brooklyn rapper begins telling a story about how at some point promoters he’d been working with ended up shorting him money—and a lot of it.

According to Tekashi, who says he never performs for less than $100,000, he told the booking agents for a show that he would no longer be performing because $60,000 wasn’t enough. They responded by telling him that they’d already paid him $80,000 on the front end for him to perform. That’s when 6ix9ine got suspicious, as he’d been led to believe he was getting paid $20,000 less than that.

Making matters even more sketchy, 6ix9ine says that his promoters called an unnamed booking agent he was working with and told the booking agent his mother’s address so the agents could do harm to her if Tekashi didn’t perform.

“So I’m putting two and two together..why would [the booking agents] wanna do something to my mother?” says 6ix9ine, who authorities believe was pistol-whipped and kidnapped by a former associate this past July.

From there, he says he once again began talking to the booking agent who told 6ix9ine that they’d booked him for $3.6 million for some upcoming show dates. The promoters he’d been working with had told him that he’d be making a few hundred thousand dollars.
