#NewMusic – Waka Flocka and DJ Whoo Kid Remix Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang”
On Saturday afternoon, Waka Flocka and DJ Whoo Kid unleashed their own remix of Lil Pump’s hit “Gucci Gang.” It was an interesting song choice when you consider Waka has accused Pump of biting his sound.
“Lil Pump raps about the shit I’ve been rapping about on my last 30-plus old CDs. Same shit—same way on my same sounding beat,” he said on the Domenick Nati Show last month. “Lil Pump is like a white Waka Flocka. Excuse me, not white an albino Waka Flocka.”

Waka made headlines earlier this week after he got into a heated Twitter exchange with the co-founder of DatPiff. The rapper accused the online mixtape distributor of “making millions behind every artist back” and referred to the site’s creators as “culture vultures.” After moving all his mixtapes to his official SoundCloud account, Waka announced he was starting his own mixtape streaming company, and promised that every participating artist would get paid.
