Sofia Sanchez, a 10-year-old Drake fan who’s currently awaiting a heart transplant in Chicago, recently got the chance to meet the OVO co-founder.
As reported in a Chicago Sun-Times report earlier this month, Sanchez and her cousin shared their own version of the “In My Feelings” challenge to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital YouTube channel. Then, in a separate clip, Sanchez asked the 6 god to pay her visit for her birthday. “My birthday’s this weekend, this Saturday, which your concert is this Saturday, and I love your music,” she said. “I was hoping that you could come and cheer me up for my birthday or anytime this week.”
Monday, Drake—whose Aubrey & the Three Migos tour hit Chicago Friday and Saturday—shared photos to his Instagram of their meeting. In one photo, Sanchez is pictured rocking a Scorpion hat.
